JhanCarlo Mendoza — I have learned so much this past two seasons in Gotham, the support not only inside, but outside the institution. I meet great people like my captain that believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, I want to run to be able to give the same experience and opportunity to someone else, to make them feel part of something, make them feel like they belong. I always thought it was only a sport I was learning but I find out there is so much more, the success not only of our team but of every single individual in it is was makes me feel I can make a difference. I’m committed to make a positive impact on my team and everyone around it. By getting this opportunity I will keep working on creating a positive environment and keep motivating and inspiring my team members to be the best version of ourselves and of course win the season gracefully.
