Edwin Raagas — Gotham since Spring 2019. Captain 2x. Most likely to be found cheering on the court, introducing myself to newbies, or avoiding scoreboard duties while reffing (it’s stressful ok!?). Firm believer that a captain can make all the difference in a member’s Gotham experience. Ask any of my former/current teammates how they would describe me, and they *might* say I’m friendly, fun, diplomatic, inclusive, organized, and encouraging… all important elements that make a captain not just good, but great. Gotham (and especially D11) have given me tons, so serving as captain allows me to give back and help shape a positive experience for division players. As a seasoned and social captain, my superpower is my ability to bridge the gap between returners and newbies. Thanks in advance for considering me when voting 🙂
