Jecamiah (Jackie) Ybanez–When I moved to NYC, the Gotham Volleyball League welcomed me with open arms, offering not just a place to play but a vibrant, supportive community. Over time, I’ve built connections and friendships thanks to leaders who’ve created a fun, inclusive atmosphere. As a captain, I’m inspired to continue this work, ensuring new members experience the same sense of belonging that has meant so much to me.
