Matthew Lew
I want to be a Power G rep to champion inclusivity for new members and veterans. The foundations in Power G are instrumental to my growth and to my peers' growth. Since Fall 2022, I've experienced a wide range of good and bad quality leadership via team captains. I've learned how an absent captain without a team name creates a terrible experience, and I had my chance to lead as a PowerPlay Captain Spring 2024, creating the first-ever PowerPlay End-of-Season Dinner, as well as hosting happy hours. As a rep, I'll gather feedback from students, organize practices, re-share informative content, and make sure coaches and classmates are prepared before they walk in. I want each player to feel ready to play in the divisions they want. I want our coaches to feel respected and supported so we can keep improving the program.
