Friendship Tournaments

Review the eligibility structure. Players currently in Gotham will select events based on their current and/or recent Division and Power levels. New players should review the descriptions on the Division and Training pages to determine which level(s) (numbers for divisions and letters for power classes) is likely the most appropriate based on their prior playing experience.

Find at least six players to form a team. Make sure all players’ level eligibility conform to the Up/Down rule in the Eligibility Structure. Note that unlike Division Play and Open Play, Friendship Tournaments allow for a libero, so consider fielding a roster of seven or more players.

Check available Friendship Tournaments below, paying attention to the time, date, and location of the program. Registrations open on Mondays at noon two weeks before play. One player should register on behalf of the team and then invite the others to join their roster via email.

Reminder: only sign up for Friendship Tournaments for which your entire team is eligible (with consideration of the Up/Down rule from the Eligibility Structure).

Show up on time and ready to have a good time. The Gotham Leader on Duty (GLOD) will guide all teams through the process and ensure a smooth and fun playing experience for everyone.
