Division 12 Captains Candidates
Players in Division 12 will be voting from May 6th, 2026 through 11:59 PM on May 10th, 2026 to elect captains for the Fall 2026 Division Play Season as well as Team All Stars for the Spring 2026 Division Play Season. If you play in Division 12 and have not received a ballot after 2 PM on May 6th, please e-mail elections@gothamvolleyball.org.
Below, please find the candidate profile of the candidates for Division 12 Captain:
Christian Grensteiner
My first season with Gotham, I was welcomed in a way that made me immediately feel like I belonged, and that stuck with me. As captain, I want to make sure every member (new or returning) feels that same thing I felt. Beyond culture, I'd bring strong communication and organization to keep things running smoothly. I'm invested in this team and want to help everyone grow in a way that makes people actually invested in what Gotham stands for.
Jason Adoniz
I’m a long time Gotham player (division and power) and have been captain many times in several divisions over the years. I enjoy bringing people together for fun times on and off the court.
Joe Meyer
After an incredible inaugural D12 season and my first run captaining Hamset, I’m back to build a division full of energy, community, and better play all around. Expect loud cheers, and chaos on the court and at Gym Bar.
Joe Mignano
I have had the opportunity to be Captain numerous times over my 10 years with Gotham. I’d like to be a captain again because I enjoy the opportunity to bringing a team together, creating an atmosphere where everyone is encouraged, supportive, and has a positive experience. If you believe that i would make a good Captain, uphold Gotham's Values and continue to create a welcome and inclusive environment for all players, I would appreciate you voting for me.
Jonathan Baez
I’m excited to serve as Captain because Gotham has been such a positive and welcoming space for me, and I’m passionate about paying that forward. After serving as D12 Captain this past season, I loved fostering team connection and supporting my teammates' growth. From organizing practices and team bonding to building team spirit (including a cute team name and logo), I’d love the opportunity to continue strengthening D12 as Gotham’s newest division and help make it an inclusive, welcoming space for all players!
Ken Tran
I had a great time being a first time captain in the inaugural season of Division 12 and would love to continue being a leader in the division in the fall. I have played in the league for many years and take a lot of my experiences to help create a fun and supportive environment for all players. I believe in the community-first aspect of Gotham and hope to help more players experience that through the sport of volleyball.
Robby Feffer
I would love to be a Captain because one of my favorite parts of Gotham is the camraderie you build within your team. After doing PowerPlay in the fall (Board Game Blockers <3) and D12 this season (Scissor Sixers <3) I'm hooked on Gotham and excited to stay a part of this community. I also think it's really fun to come up with cheers and designs and whatnot for a team and would work hard to make my future team proud (•̀ᴗ•́ )ゞ
