Division 4 Captains Candidates
Players in Division 4 will be voting from May 6th, 2026 through 11:59 PM on May 10th, 2026 to elect captains for the Fall 2026 Division Play Season as well as Team All Stars for the Spring 2026 Division Play Season. If you play in Division 4 and have not received a ballot after 2 PM on May 6th, please e-mail elections@gothamvolleyball.org.

Barry Brown
I have been a captain in D4 for the past 10 years. I love bringing a team together to make the division a little more competitive...and to always have a good time.
Bradley Schleyer
Dainty butch and a power vers on the court... I have played in Gotham for decades (GASP). I would love to serve as D4 captain and foster an amazing team environment. As captain I value competitive play, fun times on the court, inclusive environment, good sportsmanship and fun team building! Please select me as your future captain.
David Narro-Wagner
Hi as many of you know im David Narro Wagner I have been in Division 4 as a player for over 8 years. Last season I decided to run for captain and was elected. Being a captain was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had in Gotham. I was able to pick a team of great players. I would love to be captain once more in Division 4. Cheers and remember "Bottoms Up"

I have been a Gotham leader in many capacities (Capt Div, Play, Coach, Activities & Outreach) and would like to continue as Captain for another season. As Captain, I will continue to strive for excellence in our division, camaraderie amongst teams, and fun Wednesday evenings.

As a transwoman of color in Gotham, I don't get to see many trans people as leaders or captains. Gotham has been extremely welcoming and inclusive too! Visibility matters and I'd like be visible as a captain. Also, technically, I have never been captain. I was supposed to be a captain after the COVID pandemic, but 5 minutes into our first game, I got injured and it took me out for the rest of the season. I felt robbed of being a captain that season. I'd like to give it another shot. Thank you!

Gotham has been my favorite Wednesday side quest for 20-ish seasons, and I’ve enjoyed seeing how the D4 community has flourished recently. Happy to try my hand at organizing a team. Soft-spoken but assertive, I always give my best effort on the court, and I’m a versatile player who’d be thrilled to make space for my teammates to thrive in their best roles. A bit nerdy, always well-organized… try me, you’ll like me! I’ll pay for the team shirts! Was that too much? I dunno, thx for the consideration!
