As a nonprofit, Gotham charges the lowest possible dues to cover a program's expenses. Even then, we do understand that circumstances may limit our members ability to pay.

Our philosophy is that dues should not create a barrier to participation.

History: When COVID hit in 2020, we had to stop our activities mid-season. Many members declined their refunds and asked us to apply the funds to our mission.

Their generosity led us to the Wally Kunukau Scholarship. As one of the founders of Gotham, Wally is remembered for making everyone feel part of our community. We hope that this program will honor his memory and the values he championed, which became the core of our mission.

Every year since, our Board has approved a small fund to continue this initiative, and tasked its Finance Committee with bringing it to life.

Eligibility: Anyone who registers for a season of Division Play or Power training and is unable to pay our dues is welcome to apply.

Amount: All scholarships are valued at $155, so they fully cover Division Play dues, or partially cover Power training dues.

Privacy: By applying you agree to share some information with us. Your name will only be known to Gotham leaders who manage the application form and issue the credits. Members of the Finance Committee, other than our Treasurer, receive anonymized applications to review.
