Individual power
Individual power is Gotham’s unique seasonal training program. Power classes feature weekly, coached 3-hour sessions. Each session covers warm-up, stretching, and drills of increasing complexity that typically culminate in volleyball scrimmage. Over the 10-week season, classes progress by including more skills as players solidify the basics. Individuals try out and practice together as a group based on positions.
Individual power classes are offered at all levels, where you can improve your volleyball skills as an individual at a particular position. Gotham is committed to inclusivity and encourages players to choose the net height they feel comfortable with. Powers A-H use a men’s height net, while Powers W-W3 use a women’s height net.

How to join: We use a tryout system to place players into classes. You register as an individual and attend tryouts; our coaches observe and select their classes. Please note that we unfortunately cannot guarantee placement, as registrations far outnumber the available space.
